Searching for the ultimate luxury destination or “staycation” retreat in Southern California?

Ideally situated between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, the elegant Four Seasons Westlake Village is a tranquil haven set amidst the Santa Monica Mountains just a few miles from Malibu’s best beaches. Recently named one of the top hotels in Southern California by Condé Nast Traveler, this stunning 5-star luxury resort is a AAA Five-Diamond award-winning retreat set in the heart of the beautiful Conejo Valley.

An extensive, multimillion-dollar transformation project has elevated the already luxurious property, resulting in new dining experiences, redesigned guest rooms, and renovated meeting and event spaces. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a spa day or wellness getaway, a special wedding celebration, or simply looking for a great place for brunch, the Four Seasons Westlake Village is your SoCal sanctuary.

Renewed Luxury at Four Seasons Westlake Village

The recently renovated property is brimming with upscale style and relaxed Californian personality.

Guest rooms have been redesigned to reflect a ‘Coastal California meets old Hollywood glamour’ vibe and are sophisticated and light-filled. The interior design uses calming coastal hues, natural elements, and refined materials to relate a ‘relaxing, soothing, and restful experience’.

Guest room options range from studio, one bedroom, and corner suites to the impressive Presidential Suite, which spans over 2,500 sq ft of spacious luxury and can accommodate eight adults or two adults and six children. Sumptuous amenities include thick terry robes, Natura Bisse bath products, and Tesla charging stations. Pets are also welcome.

New Restaurants Unveiled

The property’s recent renovations have enhanced the local foodie scene as well. As a result, Four Seasons Westlake Village is now home to some of the best new restaurants and culinary experiences in Southern California.

The new Coin & Candor brasserie is helmed by Executive Chef José Fernandez, whose regionally inspired cuisine makes this an excellent choice for breakfast, brunch, an al fresco dinner, or cocktails at the sleek bar.

“We have created a dynamic seasonal menu that is made possible by our unique partnerships with the best local growers and purveyors – most are located right here, in our own backyard,” says Chef Fernandez. “Our relationships with these artisans drive the seasonality of our menu and allow for us to evolve our dishes as the seasons change.”

The restaurants and bar spaces at Four Seasons Westlake Village have been extensively refurbished

Award-winning Executive Pastry Chef Patrick Fahy (formerly of the critically acclaimed restaurant The French Laundry) adds his own magic to the culinary scene, creating pastries, breads, and desserts for lucky patrons in the bistro’s open-air pastry kitchen. ONYX, the hotel’s popular traditional sushi bar, has also been reimagined and features made to order Nigiri sushi and sashimi, as well as Japanese classics.

Says Chef de Cuisine Masa Shimakawa, “I work with great seafood from all over the coast and inland, too,” he says. “Sea urchin from Santa Barbara, ocean shrimp, seasonal ingredients like spiny lobster – there is really no end.”

Other food and drink options include:

  • Stir, a gourmet coffee bar serving Stumptown coffee and delectable confections from Chef Fahy (don’t miss his incredible thirty-three-layer croissant!)
  • Prosperous Penny, the hotel’s newly launched cocktail lounge. Decorated with classic blues, warm woods, and brass accents, the hideaway is reminiscent of a swanky speak-easy and has quickly become one of the hottest bars in Westlake Village.

From poolside dining to classics served in-room, from relaxed, farm-fresh brunch to excellent regional cuisine and sushi, each dining experience at the Four Seasons Westlake Village includes excellent service and an inviting setting.
